Our Strategy Business Objectives With critical technical support from Maersk Line, Limited, the American affiliate of A.P. Moller Maersk, Argent Marine is developing protocols and advancing innovative designs to transport smaller quantities of LNG safely, reliably and economically. Using state-of-the-art, bulk and intermodal articulated tug/barges (AT/Bs), we have developed plans to make LNG readily available to both dedicated customers and major ports around the world. Such availability will facilitate accelerated use of clean burning LNG as fuel in both marine vessels and heavy-duty vehicles. This, in turn, will lead to significant emissions reductions in the near term. Once LNG is available at major container ports in standardized ISO containers through the use of Argent Marine's technologies applied to Intermodal AT/Bs or small ships, it can then be transported inland through the elaborate intermodal systems that currently exist to distribute the world's freight.
