Stephen P. Gottlieb

Stephen Gottlieb is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and founder of the Argent Marine Companies. With more than 35 years of experience in LNG projects, he sets policy for, directs and oversees all of Argent Marine's activities. A lawyer by background, before organizing Argent Marine, Steve served as a managing director and co-chief executive of Argent Group Ltd., a leading boutique investment banking firm specializing in innovative ship financings. Prior to co-founding Argent Group, Steve was a ship finance partner at the New York City law firm of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft. Steve holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a BS in Geology from Boston College.
