Jay R. Gottlieb

Jay Gottlieb is the Chief Operating Officer of the Argent Marine Companies. He joined Argent Marine 15 years ago after having served on the board of directors of the company since its inception. Jay directs and supervises Argent Marine's day-to-day activities and operations and has overall responsibility for the company's marketing programs. He is the chief architect of the company's business plan and initiatives directed towards small-scale LNG distribution for vehicles and vessels. Prior to joining Argent Marine, Jay served as co-founder, COO and as a principal stockholder of the United States Can Company which he eventually took public. Before that, he was a senior executive of American Can Company. Jay holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a BA in Economics from Boston College.
