Argent Marine Operations Argent Marine Operations operates and manages the group's marine assets. The company's mission is the conduct of shipboard and shoreside operations to the highest standards of safety integrity and environmental concern. AMO personnel are highly experienced in the day-to-day operation of LNG tankers, having managed Argent Marine's own vessels in lay-up, while under refurbishment and in active service. Today the company operates a medium size clean product tanker in the Persian Gulf. The company has developed a technology partnership with one of the world's most highly regarded international shipping companies (Maersk Line, Limited) to develop logistic systems for the small-scale distribution of LNG to replace high pollutant emitting commercial motor and marine fuels in major ports and throughout the world. This arrangement will also enable AMO to achieve, for the benefit of its customers, the operational systems, economies of scale and worldwide vessel support associated with one of the world's largest fleets.
